Captain Meowdy - A fun horror, lucky cat and Mesopotamian mash-up
This cute guy's name is a shout-out to one of the best horror movies of all time, another awesome creation released into the world in 1973 (besides me lol) - Captain Howdy was the nickname the character Regan gave Pazuzu in the Exorcist. I had already designed regular lucky cats and HAD to add this very fun version to my collection - I added his true Mesopotamian double wings as an added bonus.
PATTERN ONLY - This is just a PDF pattern with two color versions (my original pattern colors as well as the actual colors I ended up using on my model stitch - my local needlework store went out of business so I had to make-do with what I had on-hand)
This pattern was designed to be stitched onto any lapis colored fabric since Mesopotamians loved them some lapis lazuli - I only had dark navy fabric so I added a lapis glow around him in my model version - you can do whatever you like - I left blanks for you to fill in your own color choices if you'd like.
